Shooting Nick

by aaron on January 30, 2011

Last week my buddy Nick was getting ready for an important opportunity so I told him I would help him with some portraits. We also came up with some ideas of a fun composite shot that would kind of act as a visual “about me.”
I had been scoping this spot in Provo for a while and it was cool to find a reason to use it. It was cold and there were lots of cars driving by but we didn’t let that stop us. Thanks for being a good sport and standing in the cold Nick. Another one of my friends came out and helped me get things set up. Thanks for coming out Josh! The corner we shot at had no street lights so in order to focus we shined our phone LED lights onto his face and locked focus. It was fun. I have to say I am continually impressed by the sharpness of this canon L glass.
